Step back in time and put your sleuthing skills to the test with the Crocker House History Mystery, an escape room-style adventure unlike any other. Gather a group of 1 to 8 people and dive into the rich history of the Crocker House, one of Mount Clemens’ most storied landmarks.
This immersive program takes most groups between 1.5 to 2.5 hours to complete and includes private access to the entire historic home. From the servants’ quarters to the kitchens, the mayor’s bedroom to the formal dining room, you’ll explore every nook and cranny of this 1869 Italianate gem in search of clues to solve the mystery.
During the 1870s, attempts to develop salt wells in Mount Clemens proved unsuccessful but led to the discovery of its famed mineral waters. This sparked a thriving mineral bath industry that made Mount Clemens a world-famous health spa. However, trouble is afoot—someone has been tampering with the waters of the town, threatening to ruin the industry! The hunt is on to find the culprit and protect Mount Clemens’ reputation.
Uncover the lives of the Dickinson and Crocker families, from Joshua Dickinson’s brief term as Mount Clemens’ first mayor to George Crocker’s legacy as a lawyer, banker, and civic leader. The details you uncover will be key to piecing together the ultimate solution.
Do you have what it takes to solve the mystery? Prizes and bragging rights await those who complete the challenge.
